We had our kick-off P.A.R.P. (Parents As Reading Partners) Assembly today with a visit from the Zoomobile!! Isn’t this sloth the cutest thing ever?! His name is Flash and he’s 2 years old. Be sure to ask your kids all about him!

Gingerbread Houses in first grade!

I finally remembered to take pictures! We traveled to Israel today! We learned about Hanakkah, gelt, dreidel, latkes, and menorahs. We played Dreidel together. Then, we followed a recipe to make latkes in the classroom!! We grated the potatoes and onion, cracked the eggs, mixed the matzo meal, and fried them up before lunch to eat with applesauce! All but two brave souls tried them and liked them!!

Today’s sensory bin included Orbeez, Halloween creepy crawlers and letter/word sorts! Thanks to Mrs. Kirk for coming in to help us out with this center!
