Lancaster Bible College Total Percussion Seminar Students may choose their "focus area" for added instruction on their area of choice.
The Total Percussion Seminar is designed for the student percussionist and focuses on strengthening musicianship and fundamental percussion technique. Students receive daily hands-on and small group instruction on Drum Set, Mallet Percussion, Orchestral Percussion, World Drumming, Audition Preparation, as well as full ensemble rehearsals including Drumline Techniques and Percussion Ensemble. Congratulations to Carson Hoffmaster of Elizabethtown HS. Carson won the Drums Etc Speed-o-Meter with 801 single strokes in 60 seconds! Drums Etc awarded Carson a brand new Vic Firth stick bag.

Day 4 concluded with an amazing clinic by the legendary Rob Robinson. Rob is a Drum Corp Hall of Famer and DCI and DCA snare drum champion.
The students loved learning from Rob. They gained a lot from his years of performing and teaching marching and rudimental drumming.

The student showcase performance is Saturday, June 21st at 2pm at Lancaster Bible College’s Good Shepherd Chapel.
Doors open around 1:30pm.
Students will still arrive in the morning at normal time.

Day 3! More percussion ensemble and drumline this morning.
Before lunch, the students were allowed to choose two different classes to attend. These focus sessions included classes on Timpani, Mallet percussion and brush technique on drum set.
To conclude the day, students attended a clinic by Gabriel Staznik of the United States Airforce rock band, Max Impact.
Gabe has been to the Total Percussion Seminar many times as a guest clinician. The students love working with him!
