Recently, Kaylene had the chance to sit down with a listening group from one of our current SCI cohorts.

One student shared how his listening group has helped him quiet himself, make room for another person’s words, and become more aware of God’s presence.

That practice has brought a deeper sense of steadiness, knowing where he is, and knowing God is there with him.

Listening groups are one part of SCI’s two-year journey of learning to care for our own souls and the souls of others. Together, students practice slowing down, listening well, and being present to God and one another.
