Our students have been loving our NEW Hot Honey Pimento Chicken Sandwich! 🙌

This sandwich brings the perfect balance of flavors with crispy, savory chicken, creamy pimento cheese, a kick of jalapeño, and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey for just the right touch of sweet heat. 🌶️🍯

All piled high on a soft, buttery brioche bun and served with crispy baked potato wedges on the side. 🥔 Farm fresh rainbow tomatoes, cauliflower, & cantaloupe 🤩

And after today’s positive feedback from our students… it’s here to stay! 🎉🙌

🍝 A Huge Hit on Today’s Menu! 🍓

Chicken Parmesan over pasta was a huge hit at Elementary, Landis Run, and Middle School today! Students loved trying our new menu option, and we’re thrilled to hear such positive feedback from studnetsand staff.

We also closed out the summer season with one last Strawberry Salad—a fresh and delicious way to wrap up the season! 🍓🥗

🔥🥣 🐖🇨🇺 Our Cuban-inspired pork bowls were a BIG hit today at both the middle school and high school! 🎉

Students loved getting to build their own bowls, choosing their favorite toppings and flavors—and Johanna’s homemade cilantro-lime sauce brought it all together! 🌿🍋‍🟩

We’re also extra excited about our newest Farm to School partnership with our PA Pork with the help of School Food Rocks ! 🐖 It’s an awesome way to connect our students with local agriculture while serving up delicious, fresh, and fun meals.💪

Local pork + fresh flavors + student choice = a recipe for success! ❤️

We had a table set up to chat with families about the cafeteria, answer questions, and share information about our school meal program. And of course, everyone had a chance to play Plinko and win a prize! 🤩🎁

A high school favorite was on the menu today! 😋 Students could choose between General Tso’s Chicken or Mandarin Orange Chicken over homemade fried rice, served with farm fresh steamed broccoli & an egg roll. 🥦🥠🍊

And guess what? 👀 That was just ONE of the many delicious choices available today!

🌶️🥗 A little bit of kick was a HUGE success!

A big shoutout to our intern, Sami, for helping us launch a new flavor at our high school salad station: Jalapeño Cilantro Ranch!

Students had the opportunity to give this bold new dressing a try, and the response was fantastic. It looks like a little heat and a lot of flavor was just what our salad station needed! 🙌

💙🎉 Celebrating Shari! 🎉💙

Our final retirement celebration post of the weekend is for someone who has brought a whole lot of heart—and a whole lot of pizza—to our district!

After 8 wonderful years with our district, Shari has officially retired! 🥳 She has served our students at both Nitrauer and the New Middle School, and most of our students know her as the Pizza Lady! 🍕❤️

Shari put her heart into creating fun and delicious pizza combinations and, most importantly, making sure our students loved every bite. Her creativity, kindness, and smile will definitely be missed at the pizza station!

We are so grateful that Shari came back to help start the school year and train her new 🍕 replacement before officially heading into retirement. What a wonderful way to pass the pizza-loving torch! 🔥

🎉 Celebrating Ms. Rosa’s Retirement! 🎉

Our next retirement to celebrate as we begin the new school year — Ms. Rosa from Bucher! ❤️

After 30 years of dedicated service to the Manheim Township School District, Ms. Rosa leaves behind an incredible legacy. She has been a key player in our district and has had the opportunity to work in almost every building, making a difference wherever she was needed.

In her final years with us, Ms. Rosa found a special home at Bucher, a place she truly loved. Her dedication to our students was evident every day. Even during the summer, you could find her helping in the Bucher cafeteria with our Summer Meal Program. She never missed an opportunity to be around our kids.

🎉Congratulations on your retirement, Ms. Rosa! We wish you all the happiness, relaxation, and new adventures that retirement brings. You will always be part of the Manheim Township family! 💙
