Fall Break is in full swing. Mrs. Eva McClain shared a picture of these three Discovery School students at Chick-fil-A. What are you doing this week?

To wrap up their unit about matter, mixtures and solutions, 4th and 5th grade participated in a Soda Solution and Mixtures Lab today.

Students created solutions by combining soda with syrups and creamers. They observed how the ingredients dissolved to form a uniform mixture. Then they added different candies and gummies to create mixtures, observing how the individual ingredients remained separate and could still be identified.

What a fun learning experience!

A great team. Always willing to help. But extra love to our IT rep, Jacob Gamble!

Happy IT Professionals Day!

Behind every connected classroom, secure network, and working device is an incredible team keeping LCSD moving forward.

Our IT professionals support thousands of Chromebooks, laptops, smartboards, iPads, cameras, servers, and software programs across the district—all while solving problems, strengthening security, and supporting teaching and learning.

Today, we thank our IT team for keeping One Lancaster connected! 🖥️👏

The most rewarding meals are the ones you grow yourself! 🥧🍠

Last school year, Discovery School students worked hard to plant their school garden. Today, Ms. Threatt helped students harvest their sweet potato’s and prepared them a yummy soufflé to enjoy. What an awesome learning experience!
