Mr. Ball has selected Ms. Azbell as our September Team Member of the Month:

It is my pleasure to recognize our September Team Member of the Month, Jenna Azbell, who is a natural at her job. Seeing students visit Jenna between classes and at the end of the school day is not uncommon because she connects with them. Her students know they are her number one priority by the way she treats them like they are her very own kids. Jenna also has that cool factor that draws students to her. Darwin D. Martin, a successful early 20th century New York State businessman, once said, “A teacher’s job is to take a bunch of live wires and see that they are well grounded.” Jenna definitely has a knack for that. She brings to the classroom a sense of fun and reassurance that makes daunting tasks manageable and causes time to fly by. She is a blessing to staff members as well. Her positive attitude is contagious, and colleagues appreciate her team work, practicality, and sense of humor. I hope that Jenna teaches here for a long time due to the fact that she is one of the reasons Thomas Ewing is the place to be.
