🌿 A little class, a BIG adventure! 🌿

We spent the day exploring Keller-Kirn Park, hiking the trails, and learning about the flowers and plants we discovered along the way. 🌸🍃

The kids collected some of their favorite finds and created their own little plant picture frames to remember the day. 🪻🌿

It may have been a small group, but we had SO much fun exploring, learning, and making memories together! 🤍

A perfect summer day at Smeck Park 🌿💧
We splashed in the water, got a little muddy, and explored pond food chains 🐸🐟
The kids loved discovering how everything is connected—then we took a break to snack on berries and play at the park 🍓🌳

Learning, exploring, and making memories 🤍

Last week’s adventure took us to Wahkeena Nature Preserve and it was one to remember 🥾🌿

We hiked a beautiful trail and visited a quiet viewing area where we got to see an owl and a hawk up close. At the nature center, some of us were brave enough to pet and hold a snake 🐍. We also checked out turtles, buzzing bees, and even got up close with taxidermy animals like a bear and a beaver!

So many little moments of curiosity, bravery, and discovery 💛

A day at Mambourg Park 🌿

Our Traveling Woodland Wanderers learned all about first aid and built their very own mini first aid kits 🩹✨ The kids hiked the trails, snacked on berries along the way, and discovered so much nature around them—including lots of American toads 🐸

We even created little habitats for our toad friends before heading out on a fun nature hunt (where we found even more!) 🌱

Days like this are what Woodland Wanderers is all about—learning, exploring, and connecting with the outdoors 💚

The easiest DIY bird feeder 🐦🌿

All you need:
• toilet paper roll
• peanut butter
• birdseed
• string

Simple, messy, and SO fun for kids (with a little “quality control” along the way 😋)

Hang it outside and watch what happens 👀

Save this for your next nature day 🌿

Day 4 at Woodland Wanderers 🌳🍃

We learned all about trees! We talked about the parts of a tree and the tree life cycle, and even found some saplings along our hike 🌱

We also created leaf rubbings and explored different leaves. It was a slower day in the heat—some of us enjoyed bug hunting while others relaxed with animal books 📚🐛

Still lots of learning, exploring, and enjoying nature together 💚

Day 3 at Woodland Wanderers 🐿️🦌

We learned about forest animals—squirrels, white-tailed deer, rabbits, and garter snakes! We made bird feeders and used binoculars to search for animals in their habitats 🔍

It was another hot (but fun!) day, and we enjoyed hiking and playing in the mud kitchen 🌿

Loving all the exploring and curiosity this week! 💚

Day 2 at Woodland Wanderers 🌿☀️

Another hot and muggy day, but full of fun! We learned about the parts of plants, explored different types, and went on a nature search. The kids placed their nature finds into a popsicle stick photo frame to create their own little nature masterpiece 🌼

We also hiked, played in the mud kitchen, and of course—found more bugs! 🐛

So proud of all their exploring and creativity today 💚
