Listen Linda... I had such a beautiful experience that I wanted to share it.
I went to a small Dominican market, and I went to get a piece of meat for an offering on my altar.
My altar is small, so I asked the gentleman at the meat counter to just get me a small piece.
He looked at me and jokingly said 'that’s all you’re gonna eat?' I smiled and told him that it was for an offering, not to cook. 
Something in his energy shifted (in the most beautiful way) and he said 'in that case, here just I want you to just have this'.
He bagged it up and handed it to me with a such a kind energy.
THAT FELT TRIBAL. I am so grateful to have experienced that.
Those of us who have held tight to the spiritual practices of our ancestors that are rooted in beliefs outside of colonialism often don’t get to experience positive energy around our practices. Especially in an open space.
So I want to openly thank great spirit and all of my spiritual support team (on this and all realms) for guiding me to such beautiful and authentic experiences.
