Connections seminars are an introduction to academic life for first-year Franklin & Marshall students. Limited to 16 students, these interdisciplinary courses teach intellectual and collaborative skills high in demand among top employers and graduate programs.

Sandrine Faniry Rajaonarivony, who was a French teaching assistant at Franklin & Marshall from 2019 to 2022, wore her F&M pride while rallying with French World Cup fans in Philadelphia yesterday. 🇫🇷⚽️

She was even interviewed by a French news team and met two well-known influencers, Alex Durand and Tom Carles!

A passion for understanding the world can begin in a classroom and lead to opportunities across the globe.

For Julianna Marton ’25, her journey from F&M to Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) has been shaped by the faculty, mentors and academic experiences that helped her grow as a scholar and global thinker.

As a Government and International Studies major, Julianna found a community that challenged her, supported her and prepared her for the next chapter of her academic journey.
Now pursuing her master’s degree at SAIS, she carries forward the curiosity and dedication that defined her time at F&M.
