Dancing Bears Music is a Music And Movement program founded by Chrisie Santoni in 2007. Since then, Dancing Bears Music has brought music and movement performances to children in private classes, childcare centers, schools, recreation centers, park systems, and birthday parties throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dancing Bears Music currently runs classes in Lancaster County, PA. Santoni trained in the field of Music And Movement through employment with Music Together and Kindermusik. She is an award-winning songwriter who took First Place in The Unisong Songwriting Contest and First Runner-Up (Adult Contemporary) in The John Lennon Songwriting Contest, both in 2004 and both for her song 'Mona Lisa'. Outdoor music mornings are back this fall. 🌿

Bring a blanket and join us under the trees for five weeks of singing, movement, instruments, and music-making together.

Our Montessori-inspired music and movement classes are designed for children birth to age 5 with a caregiver. Children are invited to explore music naturally, move at their own pace, and experience real instruments in a relaxed outdoor setting.

Meet one of our outdoor classroom friends: the American sweetgum, Liquidambar styraciflua. 🌿

Its star-shaped leaves dance beautifully in the sunlight, while its tiny seeds provide winter food for goldfinches and other songbirds, squirrels, and chipmunks. Sweetgum leaves also feed the caterpillars of several magnificent native moths.

A beautiful tree, and a little habitat all its own. 🫶

Monday can be a silly day.
Monday can be a sit-and-watch day.
Monday can be a participation day.
But Monday is always a “you” day.

Everyone can learn and participate at their own level, in our classes and beyond.

Hello friends,

Happy summer. 🫶

Fall registration is now open.

Dancing Bears Music and Movement is an outdoor music and movement program for children from birth to age five and their caregiver.

Mr. Craig and I write and record all of the music used in our classes. Our songs are inspired by the seasons, nature, animals, and the experience of slowing down and making music together outdoors.

Fall Session
September 7–October 10
Monday or Saturday mornings
45-minute classes
Lancaster County Central Park

Registration includes a Fall Rhythm Kit, downloadable music, and interactive videos.

Tuition:
$139 for your first child
$99 per sibling
