A weekend full of learning, conversations, and a little time to step away and reflect. 💛

Renee and Maddie had the opportunity to attend the annual WECA conference this weekend! We sat in on some really great workshops, connected with other educators and child care leaders, shared ideas, and had some conversations that really made us stop and think about the work we do every day.

One quote from a workshop especially stuck with us:

“If your values aren’t in action, they are just decoration.”

Whew. That one hit home. ❤️

It’s easy to talk about the kind of child care center we want to be, the way we want to treat families, and the experience we want our children and teachers to have. But the real work is making sure those values show up in what we do every single day.

We’re coming home feeling refreshed, inspired, and reminded of why we do what we do. So thankful for weekends like this that give us the chance to learn, grow, and bring new ideas back to our Snug As A Bug family. 🐛💛

🎃🍂 Hello, October! 🍂🎃

A new month means new adventures, fun activities, and lots of learning at Snug As A Bug! 🧡

We're getting ready for all things fall and Halloween with pumpkin fun, creepy crawlies, costumes, and more!

Be sure to check out our October newsletter for a peek at what we're learning, important dates, and details about our Halloween festivities!

October 14 – Staff Meeting
October 24 – Trunk or Treat (2–4 PM)
October 30 – Halloween Costume Parade!
