💙💛Alumni meeting is set for Tuesday, August 11th at 6pm. We’ll meet at the high school in the Ag dept.

Commissioner Jonathan Shell has enlightened us on a huge opportunity for our FFA program!

Also, we have events in the works that will be coming up soon! Our current FFA officers will be attending the meeting to let us know what they have planned for the upcoming school year.

Day two of the Kentucky FFA Convention is underway, and what better way to get it started than a visit from an alumnus! Kentucky commissioner of Agriculture Jonathan Shell stopped by to say hello and chat with our members! He will be bringing a welcome to the fourth session this evening. We will also be awaiting contest results! As for now, off we go to leadership workshops to bring out the leaders in all of us!

Big shout out to these fine young men on a job well done in the Bluegrass Regional FFA welding contest. They placed 6th overall with Austin placing 3rd high individual! Congrats Austin, Kavden, Carson, and Kaiden! They each received $500 scholarships to Kentucky Welding Institute for competing!

We are proud to announce Adryana Holcomb as the Garrard County winner of the FFA “I Love Cows” Essay Contest.

Her calf was sponsored by Johnathan Shell in memory of his father, Gary Shell.

We can’t wait to see Adryana continue to grow and succeed in our FFA program. The future is bright ! Thank you to all FFA GCHS students who applied!
