The Commission actively supports university policies, practices, and programs that address issues and concerns pertaining to campus women.
In July of 1991, the President's Advisory Council endorsed the following functions of the Commission:
-To examine the working, learning and social environment for all (faculty, administrators, students and staff) and to recommend appropriate action.
-To recommend appropriate action for ensuring gender equity in hiring, promotion, tenure, salary, and professional development of faculty, administr

Sexual assault can take many forms, but some main forms include attempted r**e, unwanted sexual touch, forcing one to perform sexual acts, and r**e. All forms of sexual assault are forced upon victims and survivors and are NEVER consensual.
