Sometimes life leaves us feeling broken, discouraged, or in need of a fresh start. But just like the potter shapes the clay, God is still working on us! He knows our purpose, our capacity, and what He is shaping us to become.

This week's message reminds us that the Father is not finished with us. He is molding, refining, and preparing us for His purpose.

🏺 3 Key Lessons from the Message:

1️⃣ THE WHEEL — God's Foundation God plants us on a sure foundation, controls the pace of our development, and promises to keep working on our behalf.

2️⃣ THE CLAY — God's Process God examines us, knows what He is shaping us into according to His will, and understands the capacity of our vessel.

3️⃣ THE HAND OF GOD — God's Protection His hand will not cast us away. He protects us from harm and danger and releases blessings into our lives.

Part 2: Why Brokenness Is Necessary
📖 Psalm 34:17–19

This week, Pastor Donniel Wilson continued the conversation on brokenness and reminded us that brokenness is not always the end of the story. Sometimes God uses those difficult places to draw us closer to Him, prepare us to help others, and teach us to surrender.

Why Is Brokenness Necessary?
1️⃣ Brokenness Keeps Our Spirit Open to His Spirit
📖 Psalm 51:10
A broken heart can become a heart that is open and sensitive to God.
2️⃣ Brokenness Prepares Us to Reach Those Who Have Been Broken by the World
What we have experienced can give us compassion and understanding for someone else who is hurting.
3️⃣ Brokenness Breaks Our Will So We Can Surrender to His Will
📖 Luke 22:42
Sometimes surrender requires us to release our own plans and trust God's purpose.

💭 Remember:
Brokenness does not come to destroy our purpose. God can use it to remove the pride, self-reliance, and resistance that keep us from walking in our purpose.

This week, Pastor Donniel Wilson reminded us that brokenness does not always enter our lives the same way. Sometimes we create it, sometimes it arrives without warning, and sometimes it has been buried for years.

💔 Created Brokenness — When expectations go wrong.

- Be careful whom you put your trust in.
- Unrealistic expectations can lead to disappointment.
- Self-sabotage can keep us from moving forward.

💔 Unexpected Brokenness — When life changes without warning.

- Financial crisis
- Serious or ongoing health challenges
- Loss of a loved one

💔 Suppressed Brokenness — When pain is buried but not healed.

- Unhealed childhood trauma
- Painful experiences from the past
- Wounds suffered in ministry or within the church

🙏 The good news is that recovery is possible!

God does not expose our pain to shame us; He reveals it so He can heal us.

How do we recover from brokenness?

1. Ask God to uncover and help you identify the root cause.
2. Remember that your present situation is temporary.
3. Hold firmly to your faith in Christ.

Brokenness is the condition of carrying deep emotional pain—when the pressures and circumstances of life become overwhelming and leave you feeling crushed, wounded, or torn within.
Brokenness does not always enter our lives in the same way. Sometimes we create it, sometimes it arrives without warning, and sometimes it has been buried for years.

✨ SERMON REVIEW | TIME TO SHIFT ✨

This week, Pastor Donniel Wilson reminded us that God is doing a new thing! — Isaiah 43:18–19.

Sometimes, shifting means we have to stop looking backward and start trusting God for what is ahead.

🔹 Shifting Requires a New Focus
You cannot move forward while constantly looking back. Past victories cannot sustain today’s assignment, and past failures cannot imprison you.

🔹 Shifting Requires a New Nature
God makes us new. We are called to walk in the newness of life and allow God to change our mindset, our purpose, and our direction.

💭 Contextual Thought:
“Broken people do broken things.”
Proverbs 26:11

A new purpose cannot live in an old mindset.

Don't let what's wrong make you forget everything God has already made right. 🙏🏽

Don't let discouragement control what comes out of your mouth. Speak what agrees with God's Word!
