We are an established agency based out of Lancaster that provides services to developmentally disabled individuals. Seeking responsible, committed individuals to work with our clients in the Antelope Valley!

Employment is part-time, flexible, and pay starts at $10.50 (compensation is hourly and based on experience in field).

Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check/Live Scan (No Felonies or Misdemeanors)
- Must be organized, professional, responsible, and have the ability to work independently
- Must be able to keep up with notes, calendars, and paperwork
- Minimum one year experience working with the developmentally disabled community is a plus

Experience with Regional Center is preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
CPR/First Aid certification is preferred, will be required if hired.

As an Educator, you will be responsible for working with clients with disabilities in their homes teaching them a variety of independent living skills. Work hours are flexible and based on the schedule that you create with your client(s). Hours vary and can start anywhere from 20 - 30 hours per month, with the opportunity for more hours and clients based upon performance and availability.

You will be working with consumers who have a variety of needs such as training in money management, transportation, organization skills, educational planning, cooking and cleaning, self-advocacy, accessing community resources, etc. College level knowledge in any of these areas is not required, but a basic knowledge of life skills in a variety of areas is necessary for sufficient job performance.

Seeking organized, motivated individual to work as a general administrative assistant in an office setting.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Some college preferred
- 1 year office experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software such as Word & Excel

Job Duties will include:
- General office tasks such as filling, composing documents and spreadsheets, emailing, faxing, etc.
- Light bookkeeping
- Creating an organizational system both in hard copies and on the computer
- Operation of office equipment such as scanners, printers, fax machines, multi-line phone system, etc.

Current position available is part-time. Great organization skills, as well as written and verbal skills, are a must. Must be able to take instruction well and work independently and effectively.

SEEKING GROUP HOME ADMINISTRATOR

We are in search of a self-motivated, experienced individual to assist in the management of a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities. The administrator would ideally be familiar with NLACRC regulations, specifically Title 22 and Title 17. Must be familiar with aspects of residential management including behavior management, medication, staff training, and documentation. Must be available overnight and weekends.

• Must have a minimum of minimum of three (3) years of working with the developmentally disabled population or similar
• Must have clean criminal record (LiveScan fingerprinting required)
• Must have HS diploma or GED
• Must have or be willing to obtain DSP I & II Certification
• BA in Social Services or related field preferred

Ideal candidate will be dependable, very patient and live in the Lancaster/Palmdale area. Light bookkeeping will be included in the job duties.
