Fun Friday in Pre-K! 🐾🎨

We have been reading Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes all week, and today we brought the story to life! Our students enjoyed a sensory paint walk, matching each color Pete walked through in the story.

We ended the day by tasting strawberries, blueberries, and chocolate pudding (mud), just like Pete the Cat! 🍓🫐🍫

Mrs. Jackson led our staff in professional development focused on developing a growth mindset. Together, we reflected on what every student deserves when they walk through our doors and how we can create that experience every single day. We talked about embracing challenges, learning from mistakes, valuing effort, and believing in the power of "yet."

A growth mindset isn't just something we teach—it's something we model every day. We can't wait to continue growing with our students and helping every Eagle reach their full potential this school year! 💙💛🦅
