Congratulations to Devin Ashba and Avery York, the two new hires who have joined our ranks. Welcome to the greatest job in the world!

Today, some members participated in the 50th Annual Red Rose Run here in Lancaster! Along with the participants, Ladder 1 was on stand by with 2 UTVs staffed with members to provide EMS needs throughout the course. Thankfully, even with almost 2000 runners, only a small handful needed our assistance.

We are proud to be a part of this fun tradition every year! We had a great time speaking to everyone. If you see us out and about, be sure to say hello!

*WORKING FIRE WITH REPORTED ENTRAPMENT*

City Fire units are operating on a working fire in the 600 block of 4th street. Initial reports of multiple people trapped. Tower 2 reported assisting patients out. Squad 1 confirming a fire in the bedroom with one line in service.

Crews are currently operating on a house fire in the 600 block of E Chestnut St.

Engine 3 reports a fire in the roof line with multiple lines in service.
