Another day in Spotsylvania County Schools working with Lee Hill Elementary! Our 7 Steps training supported the Kagan strategies they’ve learned and SIOP trainings they’ve had in the past and we had such a great time! This was an incredible way to end a full week 💕

Back with Atlanta Public Schools working with world language teachers today! This district is adding a new language to their program - KOREAN! - and adding to their toolbox with a framework that perfectly aligns with the 7 Steps World Language training they received last year. This huge group fills my cup every time I’m here. Thank you for having me!!

I spent the last two days with CLINT ISD in El Paso, TX training elementary, middle, and high school teachers on the new ELPS! A huge thank you to everyone who attended - it was a great way to officially start Back To School professional development!

Leading two different audiences (teachers and admin) in two different cities (Bastrop and Fort Worth) using the same text - 7 Steps to a Language-Rich, Interactive Classroom! With teachers, we focused this session heavily on Steps 5-7, which are lesson components that support the ELPS and utilize all domains of language. With admin, we looked at the 7 Steps through their lens and crafted look-fors and goals to start strong in August!

I love this resource because it is so easily customizable for audiences, experiences, and district goals. It’s new every time!

Spent a day at in San Antonio last week! Comal ISD is rolling out the 7 Steps to all campuses over the next few year - these lucky teachers were specifically invited to lead the charge on their campus in this first round!

Thank you for having us to work with your elementary teachers! It’s always wonderful to see coworkers outside of our airport run-ins 😂 💕

3 days in always feels like a dream! I’m so grateful for their incredible language acquisition team and all they do. I loved working with administrators learning about ELPS updates and two days of teachers and principals learning about structured conversations through the 7 Steps! 💕

A quick 20 hours in Omaha to work with teachers at Florence Elementary School learning about the 7 Steps! What a positive, energetic group to end the school year. 💕

It was a lovely day covering ELPS and PLD updates with .isd district coordinators and EL teachers. I absolutely LOVE this training and it was wonderful to spend the day with a local district! 😍

I am so thankful that invited me out to lead a Building Better Writers session yesterday. It’s always wonderful to be back in El Paso where I always meet the most dedicated (and impeccably dressed 💃🏽) teachers! Until next time!
