We are absolutely thrilled to announce that on October 22, 2026, our entire 2nd-grade class is heading out for an unforgettable field trip to Corn Cob Acres! πŸŒ½πŸŽƒ

None of this would be possible without the unbelievable generosity of the Lancaster Education Foundation. Thanks to their recent grant, not only is every single student’s admission fully covered, but the funding also pays for one adult per child to join the adventure! πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦βœ¨

Field trips like this are so much more than just a day out of the classroom. They provide vital experiential learning, build social skills, and now, thanks to this foundation, they foster family engagement without any financial barrier. Our teachers are beyond excited to see the kids exploring, learning, and making lifelong memories with their loved ones.

The School District of Lancaster is fortunate to have Iris, and at Price Elementary, we’ve been especially grateful for her support in preparing our school for the new year and mentoring our new Office Assistant.

In the years that we’ve known Iris, one thing has never changed: she is always kind, welcoming, positive, and willing to help anyone who needs it.

Iris is one of the most knowledgeable and resourceful people we know. Her intelligence, experience, patience, and attention to detail are matched by her humility and genuine care for others. She doesn’t just share what she knows; she takes the time to teach, encourage, and help others succeed.

Every school needs an Iris. Someone who makes the people around her better simply by being there.

We had a great time celebrating Grandparents Day at Riverside Camp Assn and connecting with so many children, families, and community members! πŸ‘΅πŸ½πŸ‘΄πŸ½πŸ’™

At Price, we believe our work extends beyond the walls of our school. Strong schools are built through strong community partnerships, and we were grateful for the opportunity to partner with Riverside and be part of such a special event.

Our Price table came ready to share a little joyβ€”and a lot of goodies! πŸ˜„

🐾 And plenty of Panther love!

One of our favorite parts of the day was putting books directly into the hands of children. Spreading literacy throughout our community matters. Every book we give away is another opportunity for a child to read, imagine, learn, and grow. πŸ“–βœ¨

What a way to finish an incredible Spirit Week at Price! Today, our Panthers came dressed representing colleges, universities, careers, and the futures they’re already dreaming about. πŸš€πŸ“šπŸ©ΊπŸ”§πŸ‘©πŸ½β€πŸ«

This week was about much more than themed outfits. It was about school pride, community, student voice, positive behavior, family partnership, and building the kind of culture we want at Price. πŸ’™πŸΎ

🎩 We kicked things off with Hats Off to Price
πŸ‘― We had plenty of fun on Twin Day
πŸ€ͺ Our creativity was on full display for Wacky Panthers
πŸ‘ We held our first PBIS Assembly, celebrating expectations, positive choices, and what it means to be a Price Panther
πŸ’™ We welcomed families for our first FTO meeting, beginning the work of building an action-oriented partnership between our school and families
πŸŽ“ And today, we closed the week with Future Ready Friday, reminding our students that the future is full of possibilities

Even in the middle of celebrating Panther Pride, we made space to acknowledge the importance of what today represents for our country. This morning, we put our celebrations aside for a moment of silence in remembrance of the lives lost on September 11, the families forever impacted, and the courage and sacrifice shown by so many. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Spirit Week may be over, but the energy, relationships, and sense of community we are building at Price continue. Our Panthers have big futures ahead of them, and we are just getting started. πŸŒŸπŸ’™πŸΎ

Our Panthers came ready today with mismatched outfits, wild combinations, crazy hair, and plenty of creativity. Spirit Week continues to bring great energy, laughter, and school pride into the building. πŸ˜‚πŸ™ŒπŸ½

But today was about more than just being wacky.

πŸ‘ We held our first PBIS Assembly, bringing students together to celebrate expectations, positive choices, and what it means to be a Price Panther.

πŸ’™ We also ended the day with our first FTO meeting, welcoming families into the building to connect, share ideas, and begin building an even stronger partnership between home and school.

Spirit Week is officially underway, and our Panthers understood the assignment! From colorful hats and baseball caps to some creative choices, our students and staff filled the building with smiles, laughter, and plenty of Price spirit today. πŸ™ŒπŸ½

This week’s heat may have caused a few early dismissals, but it also got us thinking about new ways to help our Panthers cool off… πŸ‘€πŸ’¦

Let’s just say a Splash Tower may have found its way to Price Elementary! We haven’t used it yet, but when it’s time to cool off, our Panthers may be in for a soaking good surprise. Stay tuned! 😏🌊
