LANCASTER — Desert Christian Schools marked a milestone 49 years in the making on Tuesday as it celebrated the groundbreaking for its new Desert Christian High School Athletic Complex.

A historic day for Desert Christian Schools!

This week, students, staff, families, and community partners gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new Desert Christian High School Athletic Complex.

This project represents far more than new athletic facilities. It is an investment in students and future generations who will grow spiritually, physically, relationally, and academically through the opportunities this complex will provide.

We are grateful for God's faithfulness over the past 49 years and for the many individuals and organizations who have helped make this milestone possible. Special thanks to City Church, George and Junior Atkinson, the City of Lancaster, and our School Board for their partnership, leadership, and support.

For the first time in school history, our football, soccer, track & field, and cheer programs will have a centralized home venue designed to serve our students for years to come.

We celebrate not what we have accomplished, but what God has done. We look forward with great anticipation to all He has in store for Desert Christian Schools and the next generation!

What a great performance by our gymnastics and cheer teams at gym chapel! We loved seeing their hard work and school spirit on display. Great job, athletes!
