Here's another opportunity to catch up with our former Resurrection Catholic School students and their families as our Resurrection Saints settle into their new schools! We encourage you to connect to their new schools to see how our Resurrection Saints are growing, making new friends, working with new teachers and support staff, seeing new faces and some familiar faces. In this post, you'll see former RCS 2nd grader Emily, now a 3rd grader at Our Mother of Perpetual Help School in Ephrata, along with Jack, now a 6th grader at OMPH, and their mother, Mrs. Hammond who teaches Pre-K 3 at OMPH - a real "family of faith!"
Follow social media to see how our Saints are growing in their faith and knowledge. And continue to check in through the end of the year with the Resurrection Facebook site to see what students and faculty at other Catholic schools in our area are up to and for information about how to stay connected!
PLEASE NOTE: The Resurrection Catholic School and Resurrection Catholic School Alumni social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram) will close on January 1, 2026. We encourage you to connect with social media platforms at other Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Harrisburg.
Today is the Second Sunday of Advent. Our third grade class completed their Advent wreaths, and are practicing hope, peace, light, joy and love this Advent season.

As summer races to a close, we take one more look at the Resurrection Catholic School 2024 -2025 student body, teachers, staff, graduates, and all of those who loved and supported our students and each other throughout the history of the school. As students, teachers, and staff prepare for a new school year, we pray for a smooth transition, new friends, and spiritual and academic growth, while remembering our time at RCS.

St. Joe Softball needs girls.
We are looking for girls in grades 5 - 8 interested trying a new activity in preparation for maybe playing this fun team sport when you reach high school. We will begin having workouts this Summer where you will learn the fundamentals of Softball.
We are in partnership with McCaskey Softball and,
McCaskey High School Softball in coordination with St. Joe Softball is opening its doors to students in grades 5 through 8 this fall, inviting them to explore a sport where every swing, every cheer, and every shared moment can spark something bigger.
No experience? No problem. This program is designed for beginners and experienced players alike. Whether it’s your first time picking up a glove or you’ve been practicing in your backyard for years, we welcome you. Our coaches are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students can learn at their own pace, stay active, and build lasting friendships.
Practices are held locally, and we can help with gear if needed. What matters most is showing up with a willingness to try something new. Softball is a team sport and a path to becoming part of the Red Tornado legacy at McCaskey HS.
The fall season begins in August 2025, and we encourage all interested students and families to reach out. To learn more or sign up, call or text Coach Brian Frailey at 717-538-2263
