Congratulations, Mandy, Chynaah, and Becky!

Moravian University School of Theology is proud to share exciting updates from our seminary alumni as they step into new leadership roles within their communities.

Rev. Dr. Mandy Mastros was installed as co-pastor of Lititz Moravian Church on May 31, 2026 — serving alongside Rev. Sayward Lippincott. Mastros concurrently continues her role as pastor of the Lancaster Moravian Congregation, a position she’s held since October 2017.

Rev. Dr. Chynaah Maryoung-Cooke (Chynaah Ubuntu) has accepted a call as Associate Pastor at St. Paul's UCC in Westminster, MD. She will serve alongside Senior Pastor Rev. Dr. Marty Kuchma.

Rev. Becky Lepore has been installed as Pastor of Congregational Life at Central Moravian Church in Bethlehem, serving with Senior Pastor Rev. Janel Rice. Lepore has also served as the church’s Minister of Music and Organist since 2002.

On June 28, 2026, the Women’s League for Minority Education of Chester County will honor Smith with the 2026 Pillar of the Community Award at the Downingtown Country Club.

This well-deserved honor recognizes his impactful work as a pastor, educator, civil rights activist, civic leader, and community health collaborator.
