✨ Meet the Mind Behind the Feed ✨
Hi! I’m Mariah Smart, the Social Media Manager for Horizons LCDS 📲💙 While the title may be new, I’ve been behind the scenes helping shape our digital voice for some time now. With experience in political campaigns and advocacy, I love using social media to help organizations and communities thrive. I’m also planning to study Astrophysics at Dickinson College 🚀🔭—bringing curiosity, creativity, and big-picture thinking into everything I do.

Last week, three of our Horizons Student Board members (Matthew T '26, Matteo M '26, Karma M '26) traveled to The Hague, Netherlands, where their itinerary included a visit to the iconic Peace Palace, home
to international justice and global diplomacy.

We’re excited to welcome Christian Cloud as our new Part-Time Program Director! 🎉He brings experience from both Title I public schools and independent schools, with a strong focus on literacy, diversity, and innovative student engagement. Christian holds graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Florida International University. 📚He has served as a Director of Technology at Horizons at Episcopal Academy, Instructional Technology Coach, Lower School Head, and Assistant Head of School. We’re thrilled to have his expertise and guidance supporting our programs! 💫
