Friends of Winskill was happy to leave a big table of treats to welcome our teachers back! 💙💛

As we walked the halls, it was so special to see the beautiful ways teachers are getting ready for students. From classroom touches to welcoming spaces, they do so much to help children feel excited and right at home.

We are so grateful for the care Winskill teachers put into making school feel so special for our kids, and we hope the treats made this busy prep time a little sweeter!

Help Friends of Winskill Stock the Classrooms!

Winskill families may have noticed the orange Back-to-School flyer that recently arrived with school supply information for the 2026–27 school year.

We’re excited that Friends of Winskill is once again able to provide funding for many of the additional classroom supplies our students will need this year!

We’d also love some help from our amazing Winskill community! We are collecting donations of:

🧼 Lysol/disinfecting wipes

These items will be donated to Winskill classrooms to help teachers and students start the year stocked and ready.

Donations can be dropped off at Winskill anytime, or brought along to the Back to School Bash on Wednesday, August 26!

This is completely a Friends of Winskill donation drive; our school isn’t asking families to provide these items. We simply know how generous our community is and wanted to give anyone who would like to contribute an easy way to help.

Thank you for always helping us support our students, teachers, and classrooms. We’re so excited for another great year at Winskill!

Friends of Winskill is looking for a few helping hands! 💙💛

This fall, we're working the Lancaster High School volleyball concessions as a fundraiser to support Friends of Winskill and the programs and opportunities we provide for Winskill students.

Volunteering is easy! The shifts include setup and cleanup, and you'll help take orders and run the cash box during the match.

Whether you can help for one evening or several, we'd be so grateful for your time. Every shift filled helps us continue supporting Winskill students and staff.

The Fourth of July has come and gone, and if you’re anything like us, you’re starting to realize the countdown to the school year is officially on.

But summer is far from over. There are still pool days, park days, Bogg bags, and sockless Crocs ahead.

The last week of school always carries a little magic.

The countdowns, the excitement, the running through the fields with friends, freezies melting too fast, laughter echoing across the playground, and the feeling that summer has officially begun. Field Day at Winskill was full of all those moments, and the weather could not have been more perfect for a day of outdoor games, smiles, and fun for our students.
