Make MATH fun! Whenever I get my children to learn something new I always preface it with the fact that if they learn it well and master it in a shorter time, then we may have time to learn something fun afterwards. You might think math games are not fun. You would be surprised. They build critical thinking skills. Some of the extras include game programming, cryptography, and computing binary numbers using zeros and ones. Surprisingly these college objectives appear to be fun to most kids. I was blessed to have a retired NASA engineer as a teacher who did this for me. It taught me to work faster, complete my assignments earlier, so that I could learn other skills that may help me later in life. I was in 4 of his classes. I learned to build Rockets, robots, architectural drafting, and photography including film development and photo processing. It was the best two years of my educational life. I want every child's experience with education to be filled with wonder!

Just how long will you let your child suffer in school? Do you not understand the ramifications constant failure has on a person, his or her outlook, his self-perception, his inferiority, unworthiness, and many other negative feelings about him or herself?
