Your life as a parent can sometimes feel like a laundry list of tasks—feeding, wiping, cleaning, bathing—with periodic breaks to grab a fistful of snack crackers and wipe the spit-up off your shirt.
When I took over Music Together at PPAS in 2014, I was right there with you! With two kiddos who are 18 months apart, it was hard to see past the end of the toddlerhood tunnel! Now my kids are 5 and 6, and while I am no longer wiping spit-up off of my shirt, I’ve traded it for new adventures in parenting, and Music Together is still a huge part of our home life.
I began in Music Together as a pregnant mom with a 1 year old, and I LOVED every minute of it. I was relatively new to the area, completely exhausted, and Music Together class provided a place where there was a community of parents to help me keep track of my new toddler in a fun, musical environment. Not only that, but it gave me the opportunity to develop relationships with other parents. It was exactly what I needed.
That’s why I know that what you really need, more than endless cleaning tasks and laundry, is some fun!
Our children’s music classes are just that—and more. Playful, rich, and engaging, Music Together helps children of all ages—babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids—discover their inner music-maker by playing with the grownups they love. We are happy to provide all of that, plus a place for moms and dads who need some family fun and friends!
So, mom and dad, please put down that to-do list and get ready for some serious fun! We’d love to have you join us!
