๐๐ Summer Camp Week #1: Read Around the World Camp!
What an exciting week of reading, creating, tasting, and exploring as our campers traveled the globe without ever leaving campus!
Led by LM 1st Grade English teacher Ms. Yoder and Spanish teacher Srta. Rueda, campers discovered stories, traditions, foods, and cultures from around the world through books and hands-on activities.
๐ซ In Palestine, campers read My Olive Tree, a story about how olive trees connect people to one another. They created their own olive tree crafts and enjoyed hummus and pita, foods from the region where one of our teachers once lived.
๐ฎIn Nigeria, they learned about the country's culture and made colorful lanterns.
๐ก While exploring South Korea, campers enjoyed trying mochi and learning about another unique part of our world.
๐ธ Their journey concluded in Colombia, where they learned about the homeland of Srta. Rueda's family and experienced another rich culture through stories and activities.
Along the way, campers played games, made new friends, and enjoyed picnic lunches outside each day while soaking up the beautiful summer weather. โ๏ธ
From crafts and games to snacks and stories, campers spent the week growing their curiosity, expanding their worldview, and discovering the beauty of God's diverse world together. What a fun start to summer!

โ๏ธ What a wonderful way to wrap up the school year! โ๏ธ
The final days of school were filled with learning, laughter, celebration, and memory-making across every grade level.
๐ธ High school students enjoyed a spirited badminton tournament and Spring Social.
๐ First graders showed off their creativity while tie-dyeing colorful shirts.
โพ๐ฌ Middle school students explored and learned on field trips to the Lancaster Stormers stadium and the Lancaster Science Factory.
๐ค๐ Fourth graders put their engineering and presentation skills on display with robot projects and Book Club presentations.
๐พ Third graders wowed classmates with animal research projects and presentations.
๐ And throughout campus, students enjoyed special moments with friends, teachers, and classmates as they celebrated another year of growth together.
As we reflect on the year, we're grateful for the countless opportunities our students had to learn, create, explore, serve, and build meaningful relationships. These moments remind us that education is about so much more than what happens in a classroomโit's about becoming who God created us to be.
One of our teachers, Ms. Dietzel, shared this beautiful blessing with her third-grade students on the last day of school, and we think it's the perfect message for all of our students as they head into summer:
*"May the Lord bless you. May the Lord keep you. Make his face to shine upon you."*
Thank you, students, families, faculty, and staff, for an incredible school year. We pray you have a joyful, restful summer and return refreshed for all that God has in store next year! ๐ฑโ๏ธ

๐โจ Congratulations, Kindergarteners! โจ๐
As we continue celebrating the many milestones that mark the end of the school year, we recently recognized some of our youngest learners as they "graduated" from kindergarten and prepare to take the exciting step into 1st grade!
Through special classroom celebrations, teachers honored each student with a unique award that reflected the ways they have grown throughout the yearโacademically, socially, and in their faith. From learning to read and write, to building friendships, showing kindness, asking thoughtful questions, and growing in their understanding of God's love, each student has so much to celebrate.
Kindergarten is a year filled with big discoveries and important milestones, and we are grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside these students as they learn, grow, and develop into the people God created them to be.
Congratulations to our kindergarten graduates! We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can't wait to see you shine in 1st grade next year! ๐๐๐

Today we celebrated our4๏ธโฃth graders during a special Celebration Chapel as they prepare to take the next step into Middle School, 5th grade! ๐๐
Each student received a special award chosen by a committee of teachers and staff, recognizing the unique gifts, character, and growth weโve seen in them this year. They also received a Bible with their name inside โ a reminder of our love and care for them, and our prayer that they would continue growing deep roots in Christ in the years ahead.
The chapel was filled with joy as students sang some of their favorite songs from the year like "Rooted and Grounded", ending with the familiar benediction the music classes have shared throughout the year: โMay the Lord bless you and keep you.โ ๐ถ
Elementary Principal Mrs. Carson closed chapel with these encouraging words:
โWe love you and are so proud of you. You can do hard things. And we are excited to see you go to Middle School because Middle School is going to be awesome!โ
We are so proud of this class and excited to see all God has ahead for them! ๐ฑ
