We are a family looking to provide a wide variety of gourmet mushrooms, products, and services while educating the community on the world of fungi. We are currently working towards expanding our services to include availability in a local, year round storefront and to grow to be a staple within the community.

My first handful of baby Chanterelles found this season near Central Ohio. With hopefully lots of rain this week, despite the high temps, we will see plenty of them all over before this weekend. This is not intended as a guide to identification for them and our disclaimer is not to identify mushrooms based solely on our pictures though we will be more then happy to answer any questions you may have!

We had an amazing day at yesterday's market but if you missed the market and are still in need of mushrooms we still have plenty of our delicious oyster mushrooms. If you would like to arrange to pick any up just shoot us a message and we can make arrangements. Otherwise we cannot wait to see everyone again next week!

We regret to inform everyone we will not be in attendance for tomorrow mornings Lancaster Farmers Market, but on a good note are aiming to have our mushrooms on the shelves of The Keller Market House in downtown Lancaster starting this upcoming Wednesday. This will allow more flexibility for both us and our patrons, making our mushrooms more readily available not only throughout the week but also year round here in Lancaster! We are very excited for this opportunity and hope to make an official announcement Tuesday night.

We will have both Shiitake and Lions Mane plug spawn available for order at this Saturdays Market or if you want to reserve it before hand give us a call or message and we will ensure you get what you need. You will get 50 plugs per $10 and that will inoculate a 4' x 4" diameter log or so. If you do not have availability to logs or other materials we will prepare them for you for a total cost of $30 per log, $25 dollars if you supply the log. I have included a link describing the process and if you have any further questions you can contact us via our message system on here for best response. We have a limited amount so be sure to jump on this chance as in the future they will be made to order with an approximate up to 2 week wait time. Most important thing is to find a dense hardwood log approximately 4' long and 4" in diameter as said and it needs to be fresh cut within the past month or so with visible sap wood. Due to production reduction this week as we worked hard to add more variety to our list in the upcoming weeks we will be taking the morning off this Saturday to continue to speed up getting a larger variety as well as within the the Keller House downtown within the following 2 weeks. We apologize to anyone who didn't make it in time to see us, but the wind forced us out. What do you do at market when your given bad weather? Make good food! Thanks to al our fellow vendors for cooking up a delicious mid morning snack! If you missed us and are in the Lancaster downtown area give us a ring and we will gladly schedule a pick up or drop off to meet your weeks mushroom needs.
