The 7th and 8th grade football teams combined their squads last evening in a home game against Vinton County. The Falcons scored 2 touchdowns in a close loss to the Vikings by the score of 12 - 22. Jaxon Freeland and Bow Carpenter scored rushing touchdowns for the Falcons.

The team hosts Bloom-Carroll next week, with the 7th grade playing on Monday, and the 8th grade on Tuesday.

A WIN for our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams versus Millersport at home last night!

Emma and Kinley led the 7th grade team in aces, while Adalyn and Parker led the team!

For the 8th grade team Chloe had 13 serves in a row!
Great play and superb
Serving with 100 % given by Tobi, Taylor, Arabella and Ryann.
Communication was strong between all players during last Night’s win against Millersport.
Great passing from Kinley, Ryann, Chloe, Arabella, and Ava.

History was made last night 8/24 when the Fairfield Union Rushville Middle School Girls Soccer played their first official game as a school team. They traveled to Hamilton Twp for a game and start off fast with the first goal by CiCi Noland followed by a penalty kick goal also by CiCi Noland. CiCi Noland ended the game with 5 goals and 1 goal by Stella Baskins the defense consisting of Lainey Coffman, Daisy Miller, Brynlee Irwin and Cenlee Riley and goalies Marlee Burkhardt and Aubrey Mathias played a hard fought game which end with the score of 6-3. Up next for the Lady Falcons is a home match against Athens on 8/29 at 12:30pm on the JV soccer fields.

RMS early schedule pick up will be on Monday August 10th 7:30am-3:00pm. During this time you will not be able to visit classrooms or meet teachers.

Schedules will also be available for pick up during Open House on Wednesday August 12th 4:30-8:30pm. During Open House you will be able to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and try out lockers.
