🍋☀️ Squeezing in a little sunshine for National Lemonade Day! Our Sunshine Committee loved treating our amazing BSES staff to a refreshing pick-me-up after a busy testing day! 💛🥤

Our second and final ring has arrived! 💥

Two years and hundreds of hands in the making, this sculpture is a symbol of our students growing physically, emotionally, and academically everyday at BSE. The rings represent how we are all connected and that our school truly is a family. Thank you to our resident artist Bob Doster's Backstreet Studio for all of your help and hard work behind the scenes.

The bottom ring was created by 3rd and 4th grade students in April 2025 and features silhouettes of human figures (self portraits).
The top ring was created by 3rd and 4th grade students in April 2026 and features different flowers and other growing objects.

The rings are not only connected by metal - sentimentally, our current 5th grade students helped create both of the rings.

Our amazing art teacher, Miss Brooke Baty, has officially decided to dedicate the sculpture to the BSE 5th grade class of 2026-2027! ❤️

Wow Brooklyn Springs Families! We are so excited about the growth in our children.

This is a reflection of all of the hard work and effort of our children, families, and staff. Never settle for anything less than your very best.

Miss Justina Smith said it best, “We can do it!” Her class proved that last year with over 50% gains in proficiency in reading! We are so proud to shine the spotlight on her dedication!
