Their work is woven into the everyday experience of being a student, and the influence doesn’t end when students cross the stage at graduation.

Next week, Alexis Squyers will represent the United States as the CNC Milling competitor at the 2026 WorldSkills Competition in China!

As a graduate of the Computer Integrated Machining program, Alexis has put her skills and determination to the test at the highest levels of competition, earning her place on the world stage alongside top skilled trades competitors from around the globe.

From the lab to an international competition, Alexis’ journey showcases where education in the trades can lead. 🩶

We’re incredibly proud of Alexis and can’t wait to cheer her on from Lancaster to Shanghai!

This week is National Construction Appreciation Week, and we’re excited to celebrate the students preparing for in-demand careers in the construction industry.

From carpenters and electricians to heavy highway construction professionals and the many skilled trades working behind the scenes, construction professionals play a vital role in the infrastructure that keeps our communities moving. 🛠️

Through technical education and opportunities to apply their skills, our students are gaining the knowledge and experience needed to step into careers that help strengthen the workforce.

We’re proud to help prepare the next generation of construction professionals.

Thaddeus Stevens College is opening the doors of possibility to the Lancaster community!

Today, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Steinman Community Learning Center, a new space designed to create connection and education in our local community.

A childcare center available to the campus and community operated by Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County along with a community use space, occupy the lower level. The upper story includes the STEM at Stevens Career Workshop, introducing students in grades K-12 to the trades and technologies that power our world. ⚡

By bringing resources into the community, we’re creating more pathways to discover what’s possible through education.

We’re excited to see all that will happen inside these doors.

Joseph Battle: “I enjoy working here because I get to participate in training the next generation of students in an excellent trade."

Over the weekend, saluted military personnel and veterans at our home football game!

We were honored to take a moment to recognize veterans and active-duty service members, celebrating the sacrifices they’ve made for our country. We also joined interacting with visitors from several military branches!

The Bulldogs went head-to-head with the New Jersey State Warriors, winning the game 32 to 19. 🏈

From recognizing our service members to the energy in the stands, we were proud to dedicate the game to those who have answered the call to serve.

Thank you to everyone who has served and everyone currently serving!
