Students in our Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 Lebanon County Autistic Support classrooms explored creativity and technology using Sphero BOLT during a fun painting activity with one of our OTs, Michelle Weisman.! After practicing driving and controlling the Sphero, students became artists using this adapted medium. Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 classrooms from Ms. Boyer-Beyler, Ms. Tomlinson, and Ms. Voshell enjoyed turning technology into art. 🎨🤖

Collaboration leads to meaningful learning! Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 teacher Mary Wenger worked alongside Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 OT Erin Weidner and PT Samantha Donmoyer to introduce students to a cause-and-effect lesson using Air Toobz from our STEM Lab. Students were excited to experiment with buttons and observe how air flowed through the tubing at different angles.

Students in Mrs. Zunino's Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 class at Smith Middle School in Solanco played music a little differently, they used a robot called Dash and the xylo attachment! Students were able to touch the screen to add their own notes. They chose which tune they liked the best. Students were creative, responsive, and social during this STEM lesson!

Mrs. Bowers Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 Headstart students completed a STEM lesson by predicting if they would be able to make play dough using corn starch, white hair conditioner, water, glitter, and food coloring. They were successful creating Winter Sensory Play Dough! Our future engineers.

Our Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 students in Ms. Beyler's class used all that snow as a freezing agent to make DIY ice cream in bag! ❄️🍦 No power needed—just snow, salt, and a little shaking. Even students who don’t usually like ice cream gave it a try!
