Dear Lancaster School District Community,
Our schools have been the heart of our community for over 60 years, but many classrooms, science labs, and facilities haven't seen upgrades in over 30 years. It's time for a change to ensure they continue to serve future generations effectively. 🏫🛠️
Currently, we have over 300 portable classrooms across our campuses, some exceeding 25 years in age. Each year, our maintenance team tackles structural issues and water leaks, which is not only challenging but also financially burdensome.
To address these pressing needs, we are reaching out to gather valuable feedback from parents, teachers, principals, staff, and all members of our Lancaster community. Your input is essential as we plan to replace these aging portables with modern, permanent classrooms.
