Results at CALI Muay Thai 8/28.
Let’s start with the new Junior 130lb Champion Luis “El TIGRÉ” Damian. A dominant 5 round performance. It was a rematch against a tough opponent that Luis previously defeated at Yesani 3. Luis had plenty of gas in the tank for 5 rounds, he executed our game plan to perfection and came out with the belt.
Next we had Lilah “La Terminator” going against a rival Lancaster gym. She completely out classes her opponent, winning with a dominant 1st round TKO.
We had Foxton Murray making his amateur debut, in what most people believe was fight of the night. It was an absolute banger from start to finish, unfortunately Foxton caught a forearm to the nose, which ended up in a fracture, which he battled through, but the blood may have swayed a couple judges as he lost a split decision.
Then we had Makaria “The Baddest B****” Delgadillo. We thought she dominated, she definitely worked her opponent in the clinch, we thought it was a no brainer win, but she ended up losing a split decision. Sometimes it’s like that and we just move on to the next one.
Congrats to our entire team. KIX sold a ton of tickets and your presence was definitely felt. We put on a show in every fight. I can’t say enough about our students, families, friends and fans. You were loud and we put everyone on notice. Great night all around. ⚔️
