Dear Zumba Fam:

Last week, I was admitted to the hospital with another strangulated internal hernia. This surgery; however, was much more complicated than my previous one in November and recovery is going to take much longer and be more involved than last time.

I'm not sure when I'll return to the dance floor, but I will return!

I do apologize for these ups and downs in my personal life, 2025 (and now 2026) have not been so kind to me. 😭

I’ll be the first to admit it: this weekend was tough. Post-cancer medication had me feeling completely wiped, and the last thing I wanted to do was work out. 🥱

​But I knew showing up would flip the script—and wow, did it ever! It took a minute to find my groove, but once the music hit? Pure smiles and non-stop fun. ✨💃

​That is the absolute magic of Zumba. Even on your absolute worst days, when you have zero motivation, just get yourself to class. I guarantee you’ll leave with a smile!

​Let’s shake off the heavy stuff together. See you this Wednesday, July 8th at 6:30 PM at Natural Remedies! 🎟️🎉

It never fails—going into class tonight I was feeling kinda "blah," but I left with a ginormous smile on my face! 😆✨

What a fun, intense class! I absolutely loved shaking it and burning some major calories (582 calories crushed, but who’s counting? 🔥💪). My new belly dance routines are straight fire! 💃💃

You should definitely come see for yourself next time!

My heart is SO full tonight! 🥹❤️

​Not only did I get to rock this workout with my favorite little dance partner by my side, but I had students back in class for the first time in a while! Having that energy back in the room completely made my night.

​Crushed 562 calories and spent nearly an hour in the peak zones, but honestly, the vibe was so high it didn't even feel like work. Zumba is always meant to be shared! 💃🕺✨
