Tara Beitzel Voice Studio Passionate about developing confident singers! Accepting new students
Beginners to Advanced Tara Beitzel has been teaching voice lessons for 20 years.

Her students have gone on to gain employment as professional singers, won talent competitions, secured the lead roles in musicals and placed at PMEA regional and state chorus. She earned her bachelors degree in English with a minor in vocal performance from Gettysburg College and holds a master’s degree in education from Goucher College. An accomplished vocalist, Tara has performed throughout the Baltimore/Washington, DC metro area and South Central PA. Classical repertoire includes Carmen, Dido and Aeneas, Fraun Liebe Et Lieben, Mozart’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah. She has performed locally in theatrical productions including: Into the Woods, Follies, Cats, Songs for a New World, The King and I and South Pacific. Tara also enjoys serving as music director for area productions. As a college student, she earned scholarship money by competing in local Miss America pageants. Tara went on to serve on the Miss PA Scholarship Organization’s Board of Directors. For the last 8 years, Tara has been the choir director at Trinity Lutheran in Mount Joy. She works as a Preschool Early Intervention teacher for IU 13. Tara lives in Manheim Township with her husband and son.

This is Tara’s very first production with Theatre Harrisburg! Favorite past roles include The Wife in Putting it Together at Susquehanna Stage, Carlotta in Follies at Susquehanna Stage, Miss Hannigan in Annie at Susquehanna Stage, Bloody Mary in South Pacific at The Belmont Theatre, and Lady Thiang also at The Belmont Theatre. Tara is so excited about getting the offer for this bucket-list role and would like to express deep appreciation to Eric, Theatre Harrisburg, and the production team for this opportunity.
