If you weren't able to join us for our Open House today, come out to Parent Night! This is an ADULTS ONLY event for current and prospective parents. 🍷 Come enjoy some light refreshments and the opportunity to connect with our staff and learn what Ducklings is all about. 🐥

Current families can meet with their child teacher, discuss curriculum, and learn what your child's day at Ducklings looks like. 🏫

Another week, another ! 🐥This week we're headed back to preschool and are spotlighting our JITTERBUG class. 🏫 Our 3 & 4 year olds get to spend their days with the oh-so-lovely, Miss Josie & Miss Bridget. ❤️‍🔥

Miss Josie has been at Ducklings for 10 months and has been the lead in Jitterbugs for 6. She says that the best part of her job is getting to know the kids and watching their personalities shine through! 🥰

Miss Bridget is coming up on her year anniversary in October. She's been the assistant teacher in Jitterbugs since May. 🌷Miss Bridget says that she loves building relationships with the kids and watching them learn and grow. 🥹

Each day in Jitterbugs is another opportunity to learn, play, and become more independent. Students practice early literacy through alphabet games and reading. 📖 Their math skills are developed by counting, measuring, and stacking. 🔢 Additionally, they work on independence by learning how to recognize their names, properly cleaning up after themselves, and being responsible for their own items each day. 🥳

Miss Josie and Miss Bridget, we wouldn't be complete without you. We're so lucky to have you in our Ducklings family! 🫶

Ducklings is kicking off football season right! 🏈

Every Friday during the season our center shows off their team pride for their favorite college or pro team. We had a nice mix of Eagles, Steelers, and Penn State plus a few fun outliers like Panthers and Ravens. 💚💛💙🩵💜 🏟️

We loved seeing everyone’s team spirit and look forward to the next few months of Football Fridays. 😜

Your next installment of the is here! Today we’re spotlighting our WADDLERS! 🚼 Run by our very own mother/daughter duo, our waddlers are cared for by Miss Karen and Miss Jessie! 💛

Miss Karen has been a lead in waddlers for 3 years & Miss Jessie has been assisting since she started just over a year ago. 🐣 They both agree that the best part of the waddler room is getting to watch all the wonderful milestones the children hit in their first year of life and the lifelong connections with their families. 🥰

Our waddlers expand on the skills introduced in the infant room. Miss Karen and Miss Jessie continue to work on the children’s gross and fine motor skills, they introduce more sensory experiences through play, and help prepare our babies for the transition from the waddler room to the cricket room! 🤓

Miss Karen and Miss Jessie, your expertise and patience are why our parents trust us so much. Thank you for EVERYTHING! 🤍

New Month + New theme = CHANGEOVER! 🍎

Summer is officially over at Ducklings & it’s time for BACK TO SCHOOL 👩‍🏫. Our amazing teachers stayed after work Friday evening and transformed our center for the new school year! There was lots of cricut-ing letters, music, and some silly jokes encouraging us through 😂.

Thank you to our teachers for all their hard work! We can’t wait for another year of learning! See you tomorrow for the first day. 😉
