Sign up for Meet the Violin Family, a free 30-minute introductory event for children, teens, and adults who are interested in learning a string instrument!
There are 4 sessions to choose from, offered from the end of August into the beginning of September.

During this hands-on experience, you'll get to:
🎻 See and compare the violin, viola, and cello
🎻 Learn how these instruments are similar and how they're different
🎻 Hold a violin and try making your very first sounds
🎻 Discover how string instrument lessons work for students ages 4 through adult
🎻 Meet the instructor and ask questions about lessons and classes

This is designed for prospective students who would like to explore the instruments before enrolling in lessons. Whether you're considering lessons for yourself or your child, this is a great opportunity to learn more and experience the playing firsthand!

Learning an instrument teaches something powerful: Progress comes from small, consistent effort. You don't accomplish everything at once, but you move forward bit by bit.

Some of our students start very young, but many start much later!

The truth is that learning violin isn't about starting young. It's just about starting! And achieving your goals isn't about being the "smartest" or practicing the most. It's about continuing for the long haul!

Whether your child is 5, 10, 15, or you're an adult who has always wanted to play, the first step is the same: learning a few notes and having fun.

July is flying by — is your family ready for fall? 🎻

Good news: if you have a new beginner, we've got a class that fits! From little ones to teens, if they're picking up the violin for the first time, there's a spot for them this fall. (And if they're not new to violin, there's a spot for them in our other classes!)

🎻 Ages 5–8 → Fridays, 3:30–4:15 pm
🎻 Ages 5–14 (homeschool hours) → Thursdays, 1:00–1:45 pm
🎻 Ages 9–14 → Saturdays, 11:00–11:45 am or Wednesdays, 5:00–5:45 pm
🎻 Teens → Tuesdays, 6:50–7:45 pm

No violin yet? No problem — we've got you covered! Want to play viola, cello, or double bass? These classes are for you, too! Just bring your own instrument to class. (Or start on one of our violins and switch to the other instrument when you're ready! 😉)

Can you believe we're already more than halfway through July?! 🫠 This month has absolutely flown by, and that means it's the perfect time to start thinking about fall classes and activities before the calendar fills up!

I'd love to have your beginner join us this fall! We have several group class options for new beginners — pick the day and time that fits your family best:

🎻 Saturdays, 11:00–11:45 am | Aug 22–Oct 17 | Ages 9–14
🎻 Tuesdays, 6:50–7:45 pm | Sept 1–Oct 20 | Teens
🎻 Fridays, 3:30–4:15 pm | Sept 11–Oct 30 | Ages 5–8
🎻 Wednesdays, 5:00–5:45 pm | Sept 9–Oct 28 | Ages 9–14
🎻 Thursdays, 1:00–1:45 pm | Sept 10–Oct 29 | Ages 5–14 (designed for homeschool families!)

And everything is included, even violins to use during class! 🎻You can also choose to learn viola (ages 11+) or cello (all ages) if you are able to bring your own to class.

As parents, we all want to help our children grow into confident, capable people who can handle challenges and keep going when things get tough.

Learning an instrument gives children a chance to practice those skills every week. As they learn new songs and overcome obstacles, they build patience, persistence, focus, and confidence—one small success at a time.

The best part is that children don't have to be naturally talented to benefit. They just need a supportive environment and the opportunity to learn.
