Help Us Reach 100%! Complete Your Meal Benefits Application Today!📢⬇️ We are asking every Garrard County Schools family to complete the Meal Benefits Application this school year, even if you don't think your family qualifies. Open your parent portal, click more, then scroll down to Meal Benefits Application (only one application required per household)!

This application does much more than determine eligibility for free or reduced-price meals. The information helps provide valuable resources and funding that benefit students across our district.

By completing the application, you may help provide:
·Free or reduced-price meals for eligible students
·Additional federal and state funding for our schools
·ACT, SAT, AP, and college application fee waivers for qualifying students
·Access to summer nutrition programs
·Increased funding for tutoring, instructional materials, and student support services
·Greater opportunities for grants and other educational resources
·Better planning to meet the needs of all Garrard County students

That’s a wrap on 6th grade back to school night!!
It was so good seeing all the new faces, excited for the school year to start.

A BIG thank you to our sponsors for this event, Farmers National Bank, Danny Ayres Real Estate, Melissa Erwin Taylor EA, Ethan’s Sports Card & More, Central Kentucky Federal Sav Bank and First Southern National Bank for lending us the grill. Also to our A team grillers Scott Bolin, Diana Hart, Kalem Grasham, Willie Skeens. We truly couldn’t do it without you all and the support is always appreciated.

Rustic Roots LLC & Brook Leeks stepped up big time for our middle and high school students!! They have donated 10 backpacks for each school filled with school supplies, hygiene products, and even haircut vouchers. We appreciate their hard work getting these together and donating their time and resources for this project.

Such a fun day getting to see these awesome kiddos!! We can’t wait to see their new shoes on the first day of school in 2 weeks!
Huge thank you to Lancaster City Police and our school resource officers for helping kids pick out shoes and paying for them.
