IvyLine Educational Cohort

IvyLine Capital is an investment management firm, yet it operates various educational cohorts for younger finance individuals.

The 2 main cohorts:
1 Investment & Derivative Program
2 Quant & Python Intensive (coming soon) In addition to our investment firm, the educational cohorts started initially in 2018 as a project requested by students locally, who were in need of a program or walkthrough on how investments are structured and implemented in the real world. Finance is initially introduced from a theoretical point of view, yet left open-ended from an application standpoint. Due to this problematic gap, we decided to take initiative with creating an advanced program that entails creating a portfolio, modeling equities, modeling a portfolio through optimization, and implementation of certain derivative products. Topics and concepts will also be seen on various licensing and certification exams. Coming soon in late 2021 into 2022 is the Quant & Python Intensive.

We are pleased to offer a quick and condensed complimentary Quant & Python Intensive lesson, “Forecasting Stock Prices”. In this module, you will learn basic coding functions such as

Quant & Python Intensive Level 1 coming out soon...

The program is intended to build highly valued skillsets for existing financial associates and, or undergrad & grad students who are pursuing financial or quantitative related roles within the industry.

Lastly, the program attempts to qualify candidates to help meet the demand that is being requested by financial institutions. According to a Developer Survey by Stackoverflow and Indeed Statistics, during the last 5 years, the demand for individuals with these skillsets has increased by 44.1% along with being the 2nd most popular language.

Quant & Python Intensive - Beta Version Volunteers Needed
-It is Official! Q&PI Coming out soon-

We are now accepting "employed" volunteer interests to be a part of testing the beta version of the Quant and Python Intensive. Volunteers will have full access to the Q&PI for a full year at no cost if selected. We are specifically looking for 25 associates (not excluded to only the US), who can provide valuable feedback on ease of use, application, and earned value.

Investment & Derivative Program Winter Global Enrollment is set to begin November 30...

As we begin another enrollment our reflections divert

UPDATE
Coming Soon "The Quant & Python Intensive"...

It has been a month since our last update, but we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The Q&PI is currently 90% completed with minor additions that still need to be created. As the program draws closer to completion, we will still be looking for volunteers (professionals & students) to test the beta version of the program.

This program will have partial equivalency to many Masters in Quantitative Finance programs and is intended for professionals and students pursuing careers in...

1 - Portfolio Management
2 - S&T with a quant focus
3 - Research & Analysis within the equity and debt markets

The expected launch will be in just a few months (end of 2021).
