"I am a retired ELA teacher after serving 28 years with the local school district. My husband and I have been married for 33 years, and we have been blessed with two wonderful daughters. We recently became grandparents to a precious boy, Miller, who brings us absolute joy!

Sixth grade is one of the most critical transitions for students as they move into middle school with multiple teachers, expectations, friend groups, new and more challenging content, etc. That's why LCA is creating a 6th Grade Academy to help students during this critical time. Our students will rotate between two teachers for core subject areas including Bible but will also have specific training in executive functioning skills, social emotional learning, computer science, and physical education. We are committed to creating a safe space where students can think, love, and live like Jesus! Only 12 spaces remain for this program. We have officially received full accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International. What a great end to a fabulous week of teacher appreciation! LCA has grown to 200 students in Grades K - 9 for the 26-27 school year. Thank you to all of our families and supporters who have helped us reach this level. We can't wait to see what God does next!
