Summer Camp- Week 10- July 14th-16th- Noah's Ark

This week we climbed aboard the ark:
🛠️We used craft sticks to build the ark
🛠️We played a game to race to get the animals to the ark
🛠️Children worked together to build an ark with blocks and animals
🌧️Created rain sticks
☁️Experimented with making cloud dough
🌈Made rainbows
✋Dove handprints

Summer Camp- Week 9- July 7th-9th- Cooking with Mrs. Klase

This week little chefs created some delicious treats to enjoy. We made:
🍕our own pizzas
🍧frozen smoothies
🧁pumpkin muffins
🧇waffles
🍪cookies
🍦ice cream

In addition we painted with spaghetti, created our own placemats, and designed an apron.

Summer Camp- Week 8- June 30th to July 2nd- Celebrating America 🇺🇸

🇺🇸We made the American flag with tissue paper
🎆Painted fireworks with forks
👑Made Statue of Liberty crowns
🇺🇸Had fun exploring the Americana themed sensory bin
🟥⬜️🟦Practiced our fine motor skills by making pony bead bracelets in red, white and blue

Congratulations to Wendy McFarland, our 3's teacher, for earning The Penny Hammrich Social Emotional Learning Award from Drexel University. This award recognizes her contribution to social, emotional and character development.

We are extending summer camps at KEP into July from 9:00-12:00 noon only. No Extended Learning. Mrs. Bandzi/ Mrs. Klase will lead each week with assistants.

The following weeks are available:
June 30 - July 2 - Celebrate America - Party as we celebrate our nation with Red, White and Blue.

July 7-9 - Cooking - Learn math skills as we prepare different recipes this week.

July 14-16 - Noah's Ark - Learn about the ark, Noah's family and the animals aboard. How did Noah feed all the animals? Where did they go to the bathroom? What did Noah's family do for those 40 days?
