Resilience is defined as the ability to withstand adversity & bounce back from difficult life events. Three seasons ago you coped with life's difficulties and challenges by acting out and giving up. But then Coach London entered the scene and he taught you to face your challenges like a man, look at them straight in the eye and to not give up! Even though your efforts didn't produce what the sport regards as a winning team your were still winners in regards to character and attitude. I am a witness to that. I have never worked with such a kind and respectful group of young men as you and to watch and document your resilience as you battled the challenges of the sport caused me to have pride and respect for you. There is no going back! Coach London helped you to recognize the importance of school and many of you turned your grades around and we can name with pride the athletes who are now in college. Education is the key to power and independence so there is no going back! This is not a setback. Setbacks happen when the event or job has already started. The season hasn't yet begun and you have trained and prepared to take on the season with revenge and you can still do that! People already have you defeated. That should make you real angry. We have a job to do team! To prove these people wrong and to bring honor to what Coach London has taught you! I too have a job to do. My job is to wait for you at that end zone with my camera. Your job is to work as a team and send one of your team members across that goal line where I will be waiting to take his picture. I need you to deliver. We, your fans, family, school, need you to deliver! So what you say team? Are you going to give your naysayers the SHOCK AND AWE treatment or are you going to let them define you? Let's shock and awe them team! SHOCK AND AWE THEM! I want to thank these young men in this design who always say hello, thank you, or have shown some act of kindness towards me. Your respect will always be appreciated & remembered and as a team you are all exceptionally great kids.❤️🖤

Thank you to all campers, families & coaches for participating in our McCaskey Youth Football Camp. Special thank you to alum Niquan Lee for speaking with campers to close the camp. It was great seeing Jr. Tornado, Middle School & High School levels all working together.
