We invite you to attend the South Central PA Creative Community Regional Gathering, supported by Creative Pennsylvania, with a focus on the state of the arts in PA.
May 11, 2026 from 4:30 - 7 PM
PCA&D - Pennsylvania College of Art & Design
RSVP here: https://tinyurl.com/creative-community-gathering
This space for conversation and connection is being created so we can collectively discuss recent changes in funding options at the state and federal levels and what it means to our South Central PA region. Join us whether you have been directly impacted by these changes OR if you simply want to learn more and share about your experiences as a regional creative in general! There will be time for small group discussions led by attendees to share whatβs working in specific areas of the creative sector, where more support is needed, and craft and share visions for the future including state-wide advocacy and reform.
This event is free to attend but please RSVP so we know how many folks are joining the conversation! Please feel free to share this invitation with others in your creative networks!

Opening today at the Lancaster Museum of Art!
Counterbalance is a dual-location exhibition rooted in the belief that collaboration between the York and Lancaster art communities is both meaningful and necessary. The show brings together contemporary artists whose work is grounded in strong craft, thoughtful risk-taking, and professional studio practice. By connecting artists, institutions, and audiences across both cities, Counterbalance aims to foster a more connected regional arts ecosystem.
On behalf of the PCAD Alumni Council, we'd like to congratulate our alumni who are not only participating in this exhibition, but also creating and curating it.
