Mark your calendars! JULY 30 5pm-7pm!LHS cosmetology students will be giving free haircuts to LISD students.

So excited to be co hosting this event with Taylor creek ptso! This is an amazing opportunity for the students to get some practice in and help out our badger community getting ready for back to school!

Be sure to enter through door number 10 in the back of the building and sign in.

We had 4 students advance to state in SKILLSUSA in February, which meant an exciting trip to the coast for the state convention! Between busy days at the center, we made sure to enjoy every moment together.

SKILLSUSA really knows how to put on a show for these kids! They had a few country music artists perform at their champions festival, which made the experience even more memorable. We also had the chance to visit the Selena Museum!

Before the day gets started here are some frequently asked questions regarding our princess party:

What ages are allowed? ALL ages! As long as they can sit on their own to receive services!

When? 9am-12 noon. Yes you can come even if you did not pre register. You can walk in! Anytime between 9am and 11:30am(to be courteous to our stylists)

Is it drop and go? Each princess will be assigned a caretaker to guide her through the experience but from start to finish should only be about 45min to an hour. You can wait in our parent area or run a quick errand and come back! The child will play in our “play room” after their experience until parent retrieves them.

How much does it cost? $30 per princess. Cash or card. Pay at the door.

What’s included? A cute updo, make up, nail polish. Decorate a tiara and have a Sweet treat and story time with fairy Godmother. Princess meet and greet and plenty of phot opportunities.

What should they wear? Their princess dress or prettiest dress! Dress not required but with this many photo opportunities it sure makes some cute photos!

Location? Located at the high school cosmetology classroom/salon. Drive around to the back of the high school building and enter through door #10.
