During our Summer Kinder Bridge program, students in Ms. Sidhu’s class planted sunflowers as part of one of the many hands-on learning experiences they enjoyed. Look at their sunflowers today! 🌻

A special thank you to our Lamont School maintenance staff for making sure the plants were watered and cared for throughout the growing process. It has been wonderful to watch our students’ learning grow right alongside their sunflowers!

Durante nuestro programa de verano Kinder Bridge, los estudiantes de la clase de la Sra. Sidhu plantaron girasoles como parte de una de las muchas experiencias prácticas de aprendizaje que disfrutaron. 🌻 ¡Miren cómo están sus girasoles hoy!

We’re sharing a community resource that may benefit families in the Arvin/Lamont area!

The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District is offering FREE air purifiers to eligible residents living within the AB 617 Arvin/Lamont community. Eligible households may now receive up to two air purifiers per household.

If you previously received one air purifier through the Clean Air Rooms Program, you may now be eligible to apply for a second one.

Our preschool students had an exciting first few weeks as they explored their classrooms and began making new friends. We are thrilled to see their smiles, curiosity, and enthusiasm as they begin this important journey of learning and growth!

Myrtle Ave and Lamont Schools hosted their Annual Title I meetings and back to school nights. Title I meetings are an important opportunity for parents to learn about federal funding supports our student’s learning and achievement.
Back to school night is an exciting opportunity to welcome our families to a new school year. We are excited to open our doors, share our classrooms, and begin another incredible year together.

We are so thankful for our hard working maintenance and custodial staff for the work they do everyday to keep our schools looking good for our students and staff.

We are so proud of our Folklorico groups from Myrtle Ave and Alicante Schools for their beautiful performances at CSUB this past weekend! Their talent, dedication, and cultural pride were on full display as they represented Lamont ESD. Thank you to Ms. Olgin for making this happen and thank you to Ms Mendivil for her dedication in getting our students prepared.
