Half Pint Day Care

Our preschoolers embarked on an exciting journey exploring different habitats! They learned about the differences between polar regions, deserts, and rainforests. They explored how the climates differ, and which animals live in each one. It was an adventurous journey around the globe! 🌎

Our Half Pint Day Care 2026 graduation ceremony was awesome! The hard work the preschoolers put into learning and practicing their songs and poem really paid off! Thank you to all of the parents for their continued support in their child’s education at Half Pint. Good luck in Kindergarten! 📚✏️🎓

Last week, we learned the differences between reptiles and amphibians! Some live on land and some live in both land and water, but neither live solely in water! 🐸🦎🐍

Last week we dug right into learning about what seeds grow into ... plants and flowers! 🪴🌼

To celebrate Earth Day, we learned about the importance of keeping our planet Earth clean and how to prevent water and land pollution 🌎🌳

We'd also like to send a big thank you to Miss JoJo's daughters, Emma and Olivia, for helping our preschool teachers on Thursday for "Bring Your Child to Work Day"! 💕

Zoo week was WILD! The preschoolers learned the similarities and differences between animals – how they look, the sounds they make, what they eat, and where they live! 🦒🐒🦜🦁🐘

Weather week was a whirlwind of fun learning experiences! We discussed the four seasons, temperature, and weather! ❄️🌷☀️🍁

Last week was full of fun learning about counting, colors, days of the week, and healthy food choices through repeating literary patterns and vividly colored illustrations in Eric Carle's books! 📚🐛

Last week SHAMROCKED 🍀 We learned about Irish symbols and traditions including corned beef and cabbage, leprechauns, and shamrocks. We also learned that we wear green on St. Patrick's Day as a symbol of Irish national pride, the color of the shamrock!

Last week, we identified the three primary colors (red, yellow, blue) and how we can mix them together to make secondary colors (orange, green, purple) through different sensory and manipulative activities ❤️💛💙🧡💚💜
