SPLASH Floating Classroom is an Educational and Environmental 501(c)3 non-profit organization. There are many potential lessons to be learned on the water.
In September 2004 the first class of students boarded our first floating classroom, SPLASH Steamboat. The steamboat was a replica of an 1800's sternwheeler, and served us many years an taught many lessons before she was sold and re-homed to Alaska. Now, we are on the hunt for a new vessel to teach the next generation! The main idea of a floating classroom is to inspire kids and to get them involve

Grateful to the Hamilton Area Y staff, Aqua NJ and the bright young students at the Community Camp!
This week, our Aqua New Jersey team partnered with the Splash Floating Classroom for a fun water education program! More than 30 elementary school students with Hamilton Area YMCA summer camp learned about the water cycle and water conservation with hands-on activities and lessons.
This environmental education experience was sponsored through a donation from the Essential Foundation. We are proud to support programs that teach our youth to understand and care for the natural resources on which we all rely.
