First baby was delivered by C-Section at St. Francis Health Center! Sarah, a mother pregnant with her second child received her prenatal care at St. Francis Health Center. Sarah had delivered her first baby by caesarian section but wanted to deliver her second baby vaginally. By 7pm, despite her contractions having increased she failed to progress. At 8pm the health team with Sarah’s agreement decided to deliver the baby by caesarean section. At 8.30pm, Sarah received spinal anesthesia and at 8.55pm Dr. Patrick delivered a healthy baby boy 6.6.lbs (3.0kg) by C/Section. Postoperatively Sarah recovered well and was discharged in good health smiling with her beautiful baby boy. The ability to perform C/Sections is an signifcant step in St. Francis Health Center becoming a center of excellence for Maternal and Child Health.

On behalf St. Lawrence School community, Headmaster Andrew Weisige wrote to extend “appreciation for the continued remittance of school fees for the sponsored learners. It is a great scheme towards the future of these children."
"Thank you very much for the support we received to enable our school choir to participate in this year's national music festivals. St. Lawrence School choir finished second at the regional level and 14th out of 45 choirs in the national competition.
There was no way we would have made it to national level without you funding help.”
Congratulations St. Lawrence School students and teachers. We are very proud of you!

As we celebrate the International Day of a Girl child, Change A Life Uganda is proud to have provided a water collection and purification system to a home of one of the sponsored girls Nabiryo Grace. Water is life and i know that the life of the family as a whole will change as a result of the provision of the system since Migyera is a water scarce area. Thanks to all who have supported our WASH Initiative not forgetting Al Gustafson and Rutgers University Globe-Med Team.
