The CEA School The CEA School is a New Jersey-accredited private high school for students with special needs.

The CEA School is a New Jersey Department of Education approved private school for middle and high school students which operates within and in partnership with South Hunterdon Regional High School. In addition to academic instruction, transitional services are provided with small student-to-teacher ratios in various community based settings. The CEA School provides additional resources and services to students on the autism spectrum and with multiple disabilities using individualized academic and transitional services for students who may face greater social and technological challenges as they become adults. Transitional services are structured to address three broad areas of life experiences: applying what is learned in school to real world demands; the development of workplace readiness, job acquisition, and retention skills; and opportunities in community employment, social engagement, and life skills. Enrollment is open to students up to age 21 with an Individualized Educational Plan from any school district. Applications are being accepted for ESY 2023 and the 2022 – 2023 school year. Through The CEA School's partnership with its host district, it provides students with the least restrictive environment possible in the public school setting. Students have the opportunity to join clubs, activities, and sports teams with the students of the South Hunterdon Regional School District. CEA has over 30 years experience in providing individualized transition services to students. With gloves on and big hearts ready, the CEA School students and staff volunteered at America’s Grow-a-Row. They learned about food insecurity in NJ and harvested turnips to make a real difference. Joined by another school, they collected more than 4,400 pounds of food for those in need. Amazing work, everyone!
